"I want to go back on my own." Jade said.

After school, no one in the Cedillo family supervised Jade's actions.

"Jade, Leo and I are going home now. Goodbye." Mia said.

Jade waved her hand as she got into a taxi and went to Chad's workplace.

"Chad." Jade called out.

Chad looked up and saw his familiar sister, "Jade, why did you come to find me? Did someone bully you in the Cedillo family, or are you having trouble adjusting to life there? Have you been mistreated?"

Jade smiled, linking her arm with Chad's and walking beside him. She said, "You've always picked me up from school and brought me home. When I went to a friend's house, it was still you picking me up. Today, I wanted to pick you up for once." Chad looked at his suddenly obedient sister and asked, "Do you want to be Molly again?"

Jade bit her lip lightly and rested her forehead on Chad's arm, "Chad, will you be angry?"

"No, I'll never be angry with you." Chad assured her.

After Chad finished work, he took Jade to the supermarket.

"When we were kids, Mom used to let the two of us interact with people. She gave each of us ten dollars and a shopping list to buy things at the supermarket, learning to bargain with people. I still remember that in the end, we didn't buy anything." Jade said. Jade walked into the supermarket, reminiscing about her childhood scenes.

Chad picked up some items and went to the checkout. He paid, with a girl hanging on his arm the whole time, and the two of them looked like a newlywed couple, experiencing life by shopping in the supermarket. He carried the groceries and went to the meat stall in front. Jade asked, "Chad, are we having a barbecue tonight?"

"Yes, we'll have a barbecue as a family." Chad said. He then took his sister to the egg vendor and bought some eggs to take home.

Jade followed him throughout, just like when they were children.

Chad went to the supermarket to buy markers, and her little hand was held as they walked. While walking, he would buy lollipops for her to enjoy. Chad went to buy seasonings, and she followed along. On the way back home, she wanted to buy marshmallows.

Later, their parents were busy with work, and the housekeeper had taken a vacation. So Jade followed Chad to the supermarket to buy groceries and go home. Chad once said that when he was with Jade, he enjoyed accompanying her to the supermarket to buy snacks. Every time they did that, he felt that his life was ordinary yet happy.
