"Did you and Milka patch things up last night or what?"

Mars started grumbling again, clearly annoyed. "No, someone's trying to swoop in on my girl."

At the office.

Mars had dropped Milka off that morning, and insisted on leaving the huge bouquet of roses he'd bought the day before right in the middle of her desk.

Never mind how childish that was. Milka groaned, "You bought way too many flowers. They're taking up half my workspace—I can't even get to my keyboard."

Mars immediately offered to buy a smaller bouquet, but Milka tugged him back. The two bickered for a minute, and Milka finally stormed off to work, still fuming.

But after she cooled off, all she could think about was that jealous man. She was just wondering how to make up with Mars when her phone rang. "Hello, I didn't order any coffee."

Downstairs, she spotted a delivery guy with coffee and pastries.

This time, Milka was careful—she didn't want to accept the wrong package again.

She called Mars right away. "Did you send this?"

"Yeah. You won't let me buy you flowers, so can't I at least treat you to some coffee and snacks?"
