Henry perched confidently on a chair, eating with the kind of gusto only a kid could pull off. Once he was full, he grabbed his tablet and started a video call with his uncle.

Cooper checked his watch-there was no way he'd miss his nephew's very first day of school.

Jennie wanted to come along too. "I want to see our sweetie's first day!" she insisted.

She'd skipped her usual dramatic makeup, leaving her looking much fresher. Her long chestnut hair tumbled gracefully over her shoulders, and for once, she really did look like a princess.

"Nope," Cooper said without missing a beat.

"Why not?" she pouted.

"You'd just be a handful," he shot back.
