Sweet Revenge

Chapter 120

Chapter 120 The whole thing is inappropriate for children
Silvia slept through the night.
It wasn’t because she was too tired from being in the lab all day, but
After developing a new field, she realised that in some ways, men and women were naturally different in terms of
energy
Her Mr. Simon, for example, had gotten up early in the morning to goto a meeting at the office and she didn’t even really know when he left. She had a vague impresion that he had kissed her on the forehead betore he lett, but it was only a vacue impression
Not really, remember.
Fingers moved and move, finally touching the phone that was still vibrating, almost hanging from her car. “Hello!’”
“Silvia, it’s me.” It was Winnie’s voice and it sounded que tenho

“Six o’clock? Isn’t six o’clock early?” Het brain was still int wanted to hang up the phone.
“Sister, it’s six in the afternoon, you don’t think it’s six in the morning, do you?
“Isn’t opm early? Well … um… um?!”
The sanity gradually returned to her head and Silvia snapped out of it. “What? 6pm?!
Seemingly in disbelier, she picked up her own phone and took a closer look and it was indeed almost 6pm!
She froze for a couple of seconds, got out of bed barefoot and ran to the window, pulling back the curtains to look out, the wavering sun seemed to be mocking her for wasting the day,
What? She’d slept all day?!
“Silvia, you wouldn’t … have slept from last night until now, would you?”
She asked more than once, even though it felt like it was already pretty clear.
Scratching her hair, she sat down in the chair by the window, still feeling tired even though she knew the time.
She looked up at the red haze in the sky and breathed a sigh of relief, “Never mind, whatever the time is! What’s the matter? Isn’t today a holiday?”
“No, we said we’d meet Stella yesterday to celebrate, what time is it?” she’d been thinking about it for a long time, but she didn’t want to lorget.
Sulvla hadn’t forgotten, she just didn’t think it was urgent, “Any day, I’ll give her a call and see when she’s available!”
She and Winnie could relax a bit as the work in the lab came to an end, but not Stella.
She still had the responsibility of the whole department on her shoulders, so it would have to be on her time.
“Ok then, you make the appointinent, I’m always available anyway.” Winnie was still quite lookdng forward to it, after all it was the first blg event of the jump over and well worth celebrating.
“I’ll hang up then.” Before Silvia could hang up the phone, she heard her say sharply, “Hey-”
“What?” Repositioning the phone close to her ear, she slouched all over.
“That, yesterday Mr.Simon said to go out on a trip to celebrate that …” It always feels bad to bring it up of your own accord, but with heartfelt anticipation, “Did he tell you where to go?”
“Well, no.”
With a hand to stand up, she went to the bathroom to wash up, put the phone on speakerphone and put it aside, squeezed the toothpaste, caught the water and brushed her teeth.
Her mouth was covered in toothpaste bubbles as she listened to Winnie’s surprised, “Huh? You guys didn’t discuss this when you got back last night! I thought….”
Home last night?
Silvia’s mind went back to the scene later last night and it was a whole lot of childishness!
Discuss? Discuss what? She didn’t have the time, the time, the opportunity!
Looking at herself in the mirror, the dark circles under her eyes were so obvious, ill her bones looked like they had been taken apart and reassembled and there were two big words written on her face: Tired!
“Silvia, Silvia, are you still listening?” There was no answer, not even a staccato “uh-oh” and tord moment Winnie thought she had hung tip.
“Yeah, yeah, go ahead!” Rinsing out her mouth and spitting out the foam, she answered.
“It’s not much, just wanted to ask if you guys had an expected location. I know I don’t really have the power to ask but I’m kinda glad and it’s true that I haven’t been out for a while, either.”
I’ve been in the lab all day and when I want to go out, I either don’t have the time or the money, so I can’t hide my excitement at the rare opportunity to do so.
“Why don’t you have the authority to ask you go too, so of course you can give ideas.” Wiping her face, Silvia grabbed her phone and walked out of the bathroom, “We haven’t thought about it yet, do you have a suitable place you could recommend! Something to consider!”
“Really?!” Not only can we go, but we can get ideas, it’s just wonderful.
“When have I ever lied to you.” She touched her stomach, which was rumbling and quite hungry at the moment.
It was true that when one fell asleep one was totally unaware and when one woke up one’s internal organs were in revolution.
“Winnie, wait for me, I’ll call Stella, why don’t we go and celebrate now?”
“Now?!” She was really thunderous, moving when she said she would.
“No tune?”
Winnie shook her head, “No, there’s time! I’m at home.”
“That’s fine, I’ll let you know when I’m done calling!”
Stella’s side was very forthcoming, as long as she didn’t work overtime, her time after work was still relatively free, so she agreed in olie breathi.
Silvia didn’t argue, she’d just pay for it herself anyway.
She changed her clothes and went straight to the restaurant. Winnie had arrived earlier, but Stella had to finish her business at the office before coming over, so she was a bit delayed.
It gave Silvia time to tell Winnie, “Stella doesn’t know about me yet, so don’t say anything.”
“What’s your business?” Winnie blinked and after seeing her glare at herself, immediately responded, “Oh, you mean the …”
“She doesn’t know?”
Silvia shook her head, “She only knew I had a boyfriend, but not who it was. It was something that I wasn’t going to tell anyone about.”
After seeing Winnie’s mouth grin to the point of showing her teeth, she continued, “I still wouldn’t have planned to tell if you hadn’t happened to meet me yesterday.”
“…” The half-bloomed smile abruptly faded and Winnie flattened her lips, “I thought I was special!”
“You are pretty special! Now you’re the only one who knows!” Lifting a hand to pat her shoulder, Silvia said earnestly, “So, always remember to keep it a secret!”
Winnie cheered up again when she said that, “Yeah, keep it a secret!”
She still knew a big secret, a big secret that only she and Silvia shared and it felt really good!
She suddenly thought about how Ladarius would look if he knew who Silvia’s new boyfriend was! She was beginning to look forward to that day!
