Chapter 330 Let Out the News
“What’s wrong? Are you alright?” Simon looked calm and relieved after seeing Silvia safe and sound.
“I accidentally broke something.” Silvia shook her head.
“Don’t worry about it. Your safety matters the most.” Simon glanced at the overturned liquid on the ground and said to the people waiting at the door, “Get someone to clean it up. Be careful.”
After a pause, he looked at Silvia and asked, “Is there anything you need to take away?”
“Here.” Silvia held two small bottles in her hands. It seemed that she was ready.
“Can we go now?”
Silvia nodded. In fact, she was already very tired. After all, they had been busy for a whole day, and yet the experiment was very exhausting, not to mention that Silvia had been working on it for half a day.
The branch manager never understood why Simon didn’t check their work. On the contrary, Simon used the laboratory and left. The manager had been nervous for halt a day and was relieved to see Simon go.
“If you don’t like it, you don’t have to live in the Austin’s house today,” Simon said as he got into the car.
He never minded the restriction that forbade them from leaving LA. As long as he wanted, Simon could go anywhere,
and no one dared to stop him.
The main reason for staying in the Austin’s house in LA, which both of them were very clear in their hearts, was not because they were trapped here, but because Silvia had to find out the truth and prove her innocence.
“No, it’s better to go back” Silvia shook her head and rested her head on Simon’s shoulder. With him around, Silvia felt extremely at ease. “I have a feeling that even if I stay somewhere else today, I won’t be able to sleep well.”
She thought, if Gordon obtained some incredible evidence, wouldn’t he be eager to make his move?
The car swayed gently as it passed through the streets. Silvia was a little sleepy. She picked up her phone and checked the time. Just as she was about to put down her phone and get some sleep, Silvia suddenly thought of something and opened the browser page again.
As expected, the news of Silvia’s grandfather passing away had already been everywhere.
The most interesting thing was that the main point of the news was not simply death. Instead, the news discussed the reasons why the death was revealed to the public a few days later. And allegedly, the news was not even released by the
Austin family.
Everyone wondered why the Austin family hid the death and whether there were some secrets hidden behind it. The
crowd always liked to gossip.
Her fingers slid up the pages as Silvia browsed through the website. She reckoned that someone would soon lose
control.
Sure enough, a few minutes later, Silvia received a call. The number was unfamiliar. After all, Silvia did not have many contacts on her phone.
“Hello?”
“Silvia, where are you?” It was actually Konnor with his deep voice.
Unexpectedly, Silvia never thought Konnor would call.
“On my way back. What’s wrong, granduncle?” Silvia asked with a lazy and tired voice as she smiled.
Hearing that Silvia was about to be back, Konnor did not make things difficult for her. After two seconds of silence, he said, “Nothing, let’s talk about it when you come back!”
“OK.”

Noticing that Konnor hung up the phone, Silvia smiled even harder. But within her smile, there was not only irony but
also a bit of sadness.
The truth would soon be revealed. Silvia figured it was time for her grandfather to rest in peace. Everything should soon be settled, and there would be a result. But in the end, it was a matter of the Austin family. And Silvia was part of the Austin family. It was natural for her to be sad.
Feeling the warmth in her hand, Silvia looked down and noticed that her hand was being held by Simon’s big hand. Simen said in a low voice, “Quickly cut through the mess. Your grandfather will never wish to see the Austin family fall
apart.”
“Okay.” Leaning against Simon and closing her eyes, Silvia figured she needed a good rest. When she returned to the Austin’s house, there would probably be a big fight.
The Austin’s house.
Soon, Simon and Silvia came. The entire lobby was brightly lit, but there was no warmth. Instead, it made people feel
even colder.
Silvia and Simon walked side by side into the house. Konnor was sitting in the middle of the room. When he heard the
noise, Konnor looked up at them. When Konnor saw Simon, Konnor frowned and pursed his lips, revealing his
displeasure.
Seeing Konnor’s expression, Silvia understood in her heart that the Austin family, Konnor and Gordon in particular, were not happy to see Simon. After all, they all considered Simon a troublesome outsider. However, due to Simon’s
status, they didn’t dare to kick Simon out of the house. At present, Simon was like an invisible thorn that stabbed into.
their hearts.
Silvia, on the other hand, would occasionally wonder if her situation would have been much worse if it were not for
Simon.
“Granduncle, why aren’t you resting at this hour? Are you waiting for me?” Silvia took off the scarf around her neck
and said nonchalantly.
When Silvia came in, she glanced around but did not see Gordon. She thought, so you are planning to let Konnor bear the consequences?
“Do you know that the news of your grandfather’s death has been reported by the media?” Staring at Silvia, Konnor asked directly.
“I know. I let out the news.” Naturally, Silvia sat down on the sofa, tilted her neck, and rubbed her neck with her hand
as if she was rather exhausted.
Konnor didn’t expect Silvia to admit the fact. He had already investigated the situation. Then Konnor found out that the news was revealed not from LA, but from Boston. After several turns, he got the name of the woman who released the news, and by then Konnor knew it had something to do with Silvia.
Originally, Konnor had thought that, if Silvia refused to tell the truth, he would throw the evidence on her face. However, it was beyond his expectation that Silvia would actually tell him the truth. It suddenly made Konnor not know what to say. He stopped for a moment and forced out a word. “Why?”
“What do you mean why?” Still moving her neck, Silvia asked casually.
Konnor leaned forward and said, “Didn’t we agree before that we wouldn’t release the news of your grandfather’s death for the time being? This matter needs to be investigated thoroughly first. We need to give your grandfather justice so that he can rest in peace. How did you.
Did we? How come I didn’t know?” Silvia blinked and acted surprised. “It has been a few days since my grandfather passed away. And yet he is still lying in the hospital. No matter what, he should be buried. There is no need to hide this matter, right? Granduncle, are you not going to bury my grandfather? Are you not going to arrange his funeral?”
“You’re talking nonsense!” Konnor’s face trembled.
“Your grandfather and I are blood brothers. What are you talking about? Silvia, don’t forget that you are a suspect. Don’t you know what happened to your grandfather? You can’t get away with it! Now you make such a big fuss, I think you are the one who wants to cause trouble and let your grandfather’s death be unsettled.”
Originally, Silvia was still calm and composed. After hearing Konnor’s words, however, Silvia suddenly changed her expression. Her eyes were no longer soft but cold and targeted instead. She glanced at Konnor and made him tremble.
