Chapter 35 Blind To Her

Amanda was in an excellent mood.

Corynn must be out of her wits by now. She had no way to salvage the company at this point. If she could find enough sense to call and promise to leave Orelens for good, Amanda just might consider sparing the Harper

Group and Corynn’s family.

And so, she waited. Amanda waited for days, but she never heard from Corynn.

Even now, the bitch never learned her place! Amanda left her phone with the maid and instructed the maid to inform her if anything important came up. She then retreated to her study to practice her painting.

Another maid accompanied her inside to attend to her needs. Amanda had just picked up her brush and was about to touch it to the canvas when a hurried voice came through the door.

“Miss, there is some news!”

A drop of paint stained the paper and bloomed into the once pristine sheet.

Amanda frowned at her wasted canvas. She was about to scold the second maid, but then the girl held up her phone to show her the most recent headline- “Harper Group Invites the Public to Try Products for Free!”

It was a bold move, to be sure, but it quickly turned the tide in the company’s favor.

Not only that, but the Harper Group had somehow formed an alliance with the media. With their combined efforts, the alleged victims were found and forced to do the re–examination.
