Chapter 43 She Is Flattering Herself Again

Corynn’s harsh words were like daggers, piercing Elliot’s heart and hurting him deeply.

As he watched her walk away, he placed a heart on his chest to calm his fast–beating heart, wondering how Corynn could have no qualms about hurting him so much.
