When Amanda dialed Elliot’s phone once again, an automated voice informed her that his phone was turned

off.

Gritting her teeth in anger, she unconsciously gripped her phone tightly until her knuckles turned pale.

She had been trying to contact Elliot for the past week without success. Even Kaden hadn’t told her anything of value when she asked him about her fiance’s whereabouts. He had only said that Elliot was busy.

What on earth could he possibly be busy with?

The only reason Amanda hadn’t run mad already was because Owen kept reassuring her that all would be well. Pursing her lips, Amanda looked at the delightfully decorated wedding invitation in her hand and her anger inexplicably subsided. Standing up, she instructed a maid to get her bag for her, donned her sunglasses, and walked out of the door with a smile on her face.
