Chapter 100 Be A Good Girl

While washing his hands in the restroom, Elliot answered dryly, “I came here to see you, of course–and to

apply some medicine on your burn scars.”

After all, he despised the thought of letting anyone else touch Corynn.

“There are countless doctors and nurses here. You didn’t need to come,” Corynn said icily.

“I know.” Clearly unfazed, Elliot strode to her bedside and sat down, making himself at home.

Corynn then saw Elliot taking out a milky white tube of ointment from his pocket. As for what it was for, she had no idea, nor could she read the description on the packaging.

Instead of asking, she glared at Elliot coldly and demanded, “Didn’t you already apply medicine to my scars? What else do you want to do?”

Wearing a faint smile, Elliot leaned closer and said gently, “I’m sorry about what happened the night before yesterday. I didn’t mean to hurt you.”

Corynn had to turn away to hide the embarrassment on her face. “You saved me, yes, but I only got into trouble because of you. I’d say that makes us even, so you can leave now.”

Elliot chuckled. “No, we’re nowhere near even. I’m the one who hurt you, so I should take care of you until you fully recover.”

“No, thanks,” Corynn refused without skipping a beat. “I still don’t want to see you, so please leave.”

However, instead of leaving, Elliot turned a deaf ear to her demands and inched closer to her, their bodies almost touching each other.
