Kaden delivered the women to Jason’s studio with a grin. As he turned to leave, he was halted.

“What are you doing here?” Jerome confronted him, tension evident due to their bosses‘ rivalry.

“I’m here to deliver these ladies to your boss. My boss insisted on doubling the number to ensure Mr. Reid is well–accompanied,” Kaden said.

Jerome’s expression soured. “No need. Send them back!”

Despite the holiday spirits lifting his mood, Kaden maintained his composure, intent on conveying Elliot’s

message.

“I’ve done as instructed; they’re now your responsibility. And a piece of advice–tell your boss to keep his eyes

off what isn’t his.”

“What do you mean?” Jerome snapped.

“Exactly what I said.” With that, Kaden departed with a swagger.

Fuming, Jerome called after him to return and clarify, but Kaden ignored him.

Left with no choice, Jerome reluctantly turned the women away and reported back to Jason, omitting Kaden’s
