Chapter 202
Around 9 am someone knocked on her door.
“Miss Larissa, are you awake?” the stall asked in a very respectful manner. seemed like they had all been informed of Lana’s threat yesterday.
Lying in bed, Larissa called out. “Not yet
“Do you want me to bring you breakfast in bed, or will you come downstairs later to eat? the stall continued.
Larissa was pleasantly surprised by the luxurious treatment. At the same time, she felt increasingly anxious.
The Seymour family had gone all out in catering to her every whim.
Larissa was concemned if she wasn’t cautious enough, she might fall into their trap unknowingly.
She sat up with disheveled hair and opened the door to take her breakfast tray.

Larissa decided that the best course of action right now was to lie in wait until the enemy made a move.
Not long after, Lana came to find her. “Let’s go next door and keep Mom company,” she said.
Larissa didn’t refuse.
Yvette was still cressed in the same nightgown. However, she seemed more drawn as the yellowish hue on her cheeks appeared more noticeable.
“Your complexion looks worse than yesterday.” Larissa said bluntly.
“Really?” Yvette laughed awkwardly, raising her hand to touch her face. “Maybe my condition has worsened.”
“Don’t talk nonsenser Lana interjected, rushing forward and pulling Yvette’s hand away from her face. “It’s definitely because you were overwhelmed with Larissa’s retum and didn’t get enough rest last night!”
Yvette chuckled sheepishly and echoed, “That could be a possibility.”
Initially, Larissa failed to notice something odd.
However, when Lana grabbed Yvette’s hand, the fair skin on her arm was in stark contrast to her sallow complexion.
Furthermore, her lingertips were mysteriously stained with a faint yellow color.
Larissa knew she was getting closer to the truth, but she showed no sign of it.
She couldn’t confront them yet.
Seymour Mansion was filled with her enemies on their side, In addition, her phone was confiscated by Xavier and he still hadn’t returned it to her.
She had to be patient and endure until the three days had passed.
Once Mr. Compton noticed her absence, she would have a chance of leaving this place.
Larissa spent the morning chatting with Lana and Yvette. coldly with vaque
Yvelle tried to lind out more details about Larissa’s job and daily life, but she brushed her questions off coldly with vaque answers.
