Chapter 534
The information Gary found was more than what Larissa had anticipated. At the same time, it was completely different from what she
expected,
“The man who appeared at the kindergarten that day was called Ron Jules. He’s a street thug who extorts money from small business owners as a way of living.” Lewis explained to her in a neutral tone of voice.
“Street thug?” Larissa clutched the folder she had in her hand, which was something Gary just gave her. The papers within were slightly over an inch or so thicker, making the folder bulky.
“Yes.” Lewis nodded and gestured at the folder, saying, “You can have a look at what’s inside. Most of it is his criminal record.”

Larissa flipped open the folder, accidentally letting 1 slip from her hands, and it crashed onto the floor. A stack of photos slic out of it. The photos were likely printed from some sort of internal system as almost every one of them clearly displayed the front of Ron’s face, who
had stared obediently at the camera when the pictures were laken.
Larissa recognized Ron at once-he was the man that Ella had taken a picture of from the surveillance lootage and had it sent to her. I was just that he wore a proper suit when he appeared at the kindergarten, and his hair was well taken care of too. He even went as far as to put on a pair of glasses, which made him look like a gentleman, and that was a huge contrast from the photos-
He wore a loose T-shirt and baggy shorts. His leet bore a pair of sandals, and his hair was a mess. His lace was a harsh and cruel one. Just based on disposition alone, he seemed to be a completely different person from the one he presented himself as at the kindergarten.
Just as Lewis said, apart from the photos and some of Ron’s basic information, the rest were his criminal records. He had broken the law multiple times for a wide variety of purposes, with extortion taking the cake, followed by gambling, assault, and drugs. As a result, he had been detained numerous times. But as these oflenses were not considered tco overly serious, he was only ever locked up for a few days to hall a manth, which was nothing to him. Hence, whenever he was released, he just went back to doing the same things he did as
always.
“The police have no other way to deal with him.” Lewis said.
Larissa casualy went through everything, but her confusion remained.
She did not know this man and had never provoked him. His power seemed to be concentrated in the areas where urban and rural were mixed in chaotic manners, while her workplace and üle were concentrated in the city center, which had a strong police presence. Ko matter how she looked at it there was no connection between them whatsoever.
So, someone must have hired him.
“I hired an investigator to follow him for three days, and he got this picture.” Gary showed his phone to Larissa, where there were a few pictures of two men eating together.
