Chapter 697
Aster was line, but when Larissa thought of having to go back and face her old pa with super keen eyesight, she felt afraid. “How about staying here for a few more days?
“No!”
Both men said together at the same time, which startled Larissa.
Compared to the dangers in Caldor, Gary’s “warnings” were nothing.
“We must leave today!” Lewis said.
Kevan, on the other hand, wordlessly drove towards the airport.
Lewis rebooked the light tickets and changed them to the next light. When they reached the airport, they were just in time for it.
After they got their boarding passes, it was almost time. Larissa did not even have time to officially say goodbye to Kevan before Lewis dragged her over to customs.
Kevan watched the two jog away, and he forced down his feelings of yearning. He only turned around after they vanished and pulled out his phone to call Dylan. “You-free? Come to the police station with me.”

Inside the police station, Ronan had been temporarily imprisoned in the interrogation room to wait for Kevan.
Dylan had already talked to the higher-ups beforehand. After he entered the room with Kevan, the police in the room left, and the
Surveillance cameras were turned off.
Ronan’s hands were culled, and he sat obediently in his chair. His mask had been taken off to reveal a very thin face.
When Ronan saw Kevan, he grew agitated. “You must keep your word! My family must be safe! Otherwise, you can forget about getting anything from me!”
“Enough.” Dylan interrupted him with annoyance. “You’ve been arrested. The people behind you are too busy trying to protect themselves, they won’t have time to mess with your family.”
Hearing his words, Ronan calmed down a little.
“Just tell me why Bryan Harrison wanted you to kidnap Larissa.” Dylan sat down in a chair while he stared at Ronan.
Ronan shook his head. “I don’t know. He didn’t say.”
He gazed at Dylan and did not look away. He did not seem to be lying.
“He gave me money and told me to do something for him. My son needs the money for university, so I agreed.”
“He didn’t tell you what to do after you’ve kidnapped Larissa?” Dylan asked again.
“He gave me an address and told me to send her there after I got her,” Ronan replied honestly.
“What’s the address? Dylan held out his hand.
“It’s in my phone, but the police look it away,” Ronan said sadly.
Dylan and Kevan traded a look, and Kevan stood up himself. “Keep asking. I get it from the police.”
