Chapter 699
Kevan went out to pass a USB drive to Dashiell
Ronan tumed off the surveillance cameras in the underground parking lot of Winston Hotel.
The black boxes, which were installed in some of the cars, caught his actions.
Kevan asked someone to compile the footage into that USB drive.
“After I watched the footage, I found out that it isn’t as simple as auto burglary,” he told Dashiell.
Dashiell took the USB drive with solemnity.
“I will get to the bottom of it.”
“Thank you, Mr. Montgomery.”
Kevan gave him a smile.
When Kevan got back into the car, Dylan asked, “Aren’t you afraid of alerting the other party?”
The last thing Kevan wished for was to alert the mastermind behind Ronan. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have put Ronan on a light charge.

According to the footage. Ronan smashed the car window with a bat like a madmar.
He even thrust a small knife into the window!
Even though Larissa was safe and sound. Dylan’s heart was literally in his throat while watching it.
“Okay.”
Dylan was at a loss for words to calm Kevan down.
“By the way, did something unpleasant happen between you and Bryan? Why is he setting you up?”
“I haven’t met him before.”
Kevan had been recalling if he had offended Bryan upon learning of the deal between Ronan and Bryan. He was certain that he hadn’t met
Bryan before today.
Dylan’s brows furrowed deeper.
“That doesn’t make sense. Did you set someone up and forget about it?”
He grumbled. “I told you to be kinder, didn’11? Don’t act like a Grim Reaper all the time. You might not remember what kind of awlul things you tell others, but they might resent you forever.”
“I’m positive that I haven’t seen him before.”
Kevan firmly denied Dylan’s groundless assumption.
Considering his exceptional memory, he could remember the faces of passersby on the streets.
Bryan was once Larissa’s second-in-command. If both the men had confronted each other before, Kevan would’ve remembered.
