In the chaos, Eloise found herself scooped up by Harvey. She snuggled into his

arms, feeling the warmth and a faint musky scent.

They were moving farther away from the abandoned warehouse.

Eloise's anxiety eased a little. She closed her eyes, only to feel a wave of dizziness wash over her. "Harvey," she whispered, gripping his shirt.

He looked down at her, whose face was pale as a ghost. Leaning on him, she murmured weakly, "I got hit in the back of my head, might be a concussion."

Without hesitation, Harvey rushed her to the hospital in his car.

Relegated to the backseat, Eloise felt miserable. She felt like puking her guts out!
