3–The Bad Alpha King

After rejecting me, he walked past me as I stayed on my knees, trembling in agony. Elaine had rushed downstairs to support me on my feet and take me back to my room. I would have argued with her but I wasn‘t in a state to mumble a word out my lips.

Sadly enough, every time a mate as strong as an Alpha or Alpha King rejects you, the wolf gets weaker and weaker

I got rejected by the Alpha King, Nia was going to suffer a lot now.

I stayed in my bed and cried for hours, hoping the pain will subside anytime sooner but it didn‘t and I ended up feeling all the pain and crying throughout the afternoon.

After it seemed like the pain mitigated, I rolled out of the bed to take a shower. Ethen and Vinona must have heard from their daughter about the events that led to me getting rejected by my mate but none of them came to check up on me.

They have never let me adopt their surnames or call them mom and dad, I just don‘t even know why adopt me when they didn‘t want me?

After I took a warm shower, I stood in front of the mirror and stared at my face in silence while being wrapped in a towel.

“Come out and deal with the trouble you have brought upon us,” Vinona yelled from the other side, making me frown at her statement.

“I am sorry! What is going on?” I asked from behind the closed door, taking off the towel to slip into a green tunic and blue jeans.

“Lord Shaun has sent his Royal Beta and Gamma to collect you,” those words coming out of her lips froze me in my skin, “They are going to present you to the werewolf court as Alpha King Corbin has filed a complaint against you,” the more she explained why I was summoned, the more my heart started losing beats.
