"Tell me, do you want me to die? Do you know what will happen when the next alpha king comes and finds out about me? He will also find out about Enya. She is a hybrid; she was born with magic. Hazel nuzzled her hand against Alaric's arm, a softly enchanting spell in her mouth.

She never thought she would get to see a day when she will be using spells on her beloved Alaric. The more she talked, the more he calmed down.

"You are right." He rubbed his hands on his face, nervously thinking over his mate’s words. He realized she was right, or maybe it was the spells she kept murmuring that made him agree with her.
