Tell me that with all the protection and limitations he put on her, how she still got taken? I’m not Kristen, Jacob. I’m not a fighter. “You have only been Luna for a short time.” Jacob stepped back but kept his hands on my arms. He leaned down and looked at me as I cleaned away the tears. “No one and I mean no one is immune to the hardship. F uck, look at me and Sherry. You saw me lose my s hit over her.
