"Do you want to go?" I ask Rosie while we're all sitting together in the backyard with our friends. Nobody expected to see her tonight after what happened and when the girls realized that she was here, she was practically tackled into a group hug. "I'm tired, but I'm having so much fun," she says, looking up at me. Currently, she's on my lap and we're all sitting around the fire. She has my jacket on because she got extra cold a while ago.

Rosie didn't I use to get cold that easily, but I know that since she has lost a lot of weight, this is normal.

"That's enough for today." I kiss her temple. I don't want to exhaust her so much. Not after what happened. "Everybody is already leaving." We haven't talked about anything yet, but it doesn't take a genius to take the hint. Everything is finally working in our favor. She presses number 7 on the elevator as she murmurs a quiet 'yes', making me smile.

"I think I'm gonna fall asleep in a minute." She yawns, wrapping her arms around my arm.

Having her at my place as my girl again feels different. Everything is finally normal again. My life feels great and I have everything I want.

"Go to my closet and pick whatever you want, cupcake," I tell her, making her smile. "I will take my clothes and sleep on the couch to give you space."
