I have many plans for us. I want this trip to be memorable for her and me too, but she is my priority. I know that she was very excited about this trip when we first planned it, then the accident happened and everything went downhill. When we started discussing going again in Summer, she was hesitant despite wanting to go. She even suggested going in winter to avoid repeating a pattern that might have turned into a bad omen: Somehow, she connected the trip to something negative. My nervousness isn't at a low level, but I won't let it hold me back. I'm determined to take this step and if her rejection hits me in the face, I'm going to handle it.
