Alex drew in a deep breath, suppressing his energy until he matched the guards at roughly level twenty.

In a split second, he swung a fast punch at the nearest guard.

The man's face caved in under the blow-his nose broke, blood splattered, and two teeth flew out.

Everyone froze. They had never expected Alex to retaliate so fiercely, this quickly.
