James arched an eyebrow and asked, 'You're letting me go?"
Matias parted his lips, but his words were caught in his throat.
Wayra stared at Matias and hurriedly said, "Are you out of your mind? Tai Chi's decree mandates that failure to eliminate him if we see him will bring disaster upon our entire sect!"
Matias slowly shut his eyes, saying, "Then shall we pay his saving grace with enmity? I simply can't bring myself to do such a thing."
Wayra stood in stunned silence for a moment before bursting out in frustration. "Why are we so unlucky?"

Princess Lumia retorted, 'Then are we going to be ungrateful? Even if you're able to do it, I could never stoop so low."
Wayra's glare sharpened as he shot back at her remark, "What are you implying? Are you questioning my character? Do you really think I would do such a thing?"
Matias snorted, "Tempestara has always been one to put interest above all else. With Tai Chi's rewards so close within reach, you must be so eager to kill Forty-nine."
Wayra gestured vehemently as he bellowed, "Nonsense! Tai Chi doesn't even acknowledge any other sect apart from the Timaeus Sect and Yaquis Sect. Even if we eliminate Forty-nine, we won't be able to gain Tai Chi's favor. We'd be just benefiting the others. Do you two take me for a fool?"
As they argued amongst themselves, James wore a smirk.
Wayra interrupted angrily, "Enough! As long as you two have the guts to bear the consequences, I have nothing to be afraid of either!"
Immediately afterward, Wayra turned to James and urged, "Leave immediately, Forty-nine! We've repaid our debt.”
James steadied himself and slowly rose to his feet. Then, he reminded, " Are you sure? If you kill me, not only will you elevate your status, but you'll also gain greater strength. Don't you three want to enter the Daeclon Rank?"
Princess Lumia snapped at him, "Are you insane? Do you really want to be reduced to ashes?" "Who wouldn't want to reach the Daeclon Rank? However, I'd rather walk a path of righteousness. If I become ungrateful, then so what if I enter the Daeclon Rank? What sets me apart from a wretched person?" Matias gritted his teeth, and his resolve was evident.
