James paused for a moment, then nodded. “I met him, but it was only his remnant soul."
Yuldra frowned and further inquired, "A remnant soul? Then, it must reside within you, right? Otherwise, how else would you have obtained his Marciais Soul and Marciais Power."
James acknowledged with a slight nod. "You're right. However, I haven't fully integrated the Marciais Soul with myself yet, hence..."
Yuldra chuckled, "Even if you do, you'll only reach the Ninth Xaeclon Rank. Marciais Power and Historial Power are created by living beings. Natural powers are much different. Without the recognition of the Great Historial Land, their levels can't be determined, and you won't be able to enter the Daeclon Rank."
James frowned and asked, "Aren't you at the Daeclon Rank?"
Yuldra confirmed, "Yeah. However, I didn't enter the Daeclon Rank with pure Historial Power. I fused Taishi Powers with it."
"I see." James was slightly surprised by the revelation.

"What else do you think we've been fighting for? It has always been about the level of our powers." Yuldra smiled with a tinge of sorrow.
"Wasn't it because Zymurgy deceived you guys?"
Yuldra took a deep breath and replied, "Of course, it was part of their scheme. Because Zymurgy obstructed our path of ascension, we had to take the risk to venture into the Great Historial Land.
"And we're also creatures with dignity, integrity, and pride. Since Zymurgy didn't provide us with ample cultivation resources to enter the Daeclon Rank, we created our own, hoping to be independent. That way, we could maintain our dignity and become stronger without any constraints."
James wore a surprised expression as he gained an understanding of the past.
In essence, Zymurgy instigated conflict between the two major forces by exploiting their eagerness to infiltrate the Great Historial Land and identify the powers they had cultivated. As long as Historial Power or Marciais Power could be acknowledged as one of the three vital energies, the living beings cultivating them would be able to break into the Daeclon Rank.
With the strength of the Daeclon Rank, they would finally have to stand as equal Zymgury and have the strength to rival them.
It was a grand plan and dream that was completely ruined due to the mysterious sealing power.
James looked at Yuldra and inquired again, "Since there was already a plan, why resort to fighting to death? Can't both powers be acknowledged together?"
Yulda explained bitterly, "It's complicated. First, the Great Historial Land's teleportation power was only enough for one person. Secondly, having our powers acknowledged would require a Genesis Soul. Our faction brought one, but the Marciais Power faction didn't. Otherwise, you wouldn't have had the chance to obtain the Marciais Soul."
"So it's the faction cultivating Marciais Power that caused all this trouble?" James sighed.
Yuldra replied, "Not really. Just because they didn't bring a Genesis Soul doesn't mean they couldn't return anytime to get it. It would just take a little bit more time. Our side was eager and wanted to succeed as soon as possible. That's how the war of the Greater Realms broke out."
