James remained silent after listening to what Morgott said.
Behind him, Herodias and Yegor exchanged a glance. Both of them were frowning slightly.
If James were to agree to cooperate with Morgott, the two of them would make an indestructible team.
Even though they were both Ninth Xaeclon Rank cultivators who possessed the Tirta Power, Yegor and Herodias were still no match for the pair.
Still, the couple believed that James would not do that. That was because James was very different from Morgott, especially in terms of his personality.
The Yin governor, his wife, would always be James' first priority. She meant the world to him. Moreover, they just had another kid. The child’s presence would also give James courage and a sense of purpose.
A short while later, James glanced over his shoulder at Yegor and Herodias, who were staring at him.
Then, he turned his eyes to Thea, who was still lying on her back while levitating mid-air.
There was a flash of determination in his eyes. It seemed like James had come to a decision.

"What's there to consider about, James?" Morgott prodded him.
"You can achieve great things instantly if you just agree to my terms.
What's holding you back?"
James drew a long breath. Then, he beamed a smile at the baby.
"You possessed my child's body, but you said you want to be my friend. Isn't that too much of a loss on my side?"
Morgott paused briefly. "What do you mean?"
James replied, "Shouldn't you call me daddy?"
Morgott paused again for a few seconds before shouting angrily, "I see you as a friend, James! Yet, you want to be my father?! You...”
"That's right." James interrupted, "If you truly see me as a friend, get out of my child's body right now. Otherwise, you’ll forever lose the chance to work with me again.”
Morgott fell silent.
"I know you are doing this because you want to use me to undo the seal on your main body." James continued, "You don't have to resort to doing something like this to achieve your purpose.
"Also, you seem to have forgotten something. This isn't the first time you've possessed one of my children’s body. Did I give in back then?"
Morgott was reminded of Hetsema upon hearing those words. However, he knew very well that Hetsema could not compare to James' newborn, who was a Hongrome Child.
Still, Morgott was aware that James was not someone who could be forced to do something against his will through threats or blackmail.
James would never consider working with someone who did that to him.
Morgott grumbled a few seconds later, "You... You're as stubborn as a mule!”
James smiled faintly. "Morgott, you and I have different beliefs and discipline in life.
