James furrowed his brows. Still, he gave the elderly gentleman permission a brief moment later.
James wanted to gather more information about the Great Historial Land and the people in it. These men had the exact information he wanted.
After receiving permission, Lord Toviyyah looked at Lord Tzivya. “Persephone, I have three questions for you.
"Firstly, what is your relationship to Yehria? Why were you so supportive of her becoming Tai Chi?
"Secondly, was the gathering at the Forty-Ninth Heaven a plot designed to bring down the Ten Holy Temples? Were you aware of it all along?
"Thirdly, we were told to use the Haurvatat Temple's name as a cover in hunting down the Chosen One who was also a living being.
"We even had to abduct his wife. Who exactly gave you these ideas or orders?"
The other cultivators fixed Lord Tzivya with intense gazes as they listened to Lord Toviyyah's questions. It even seemed like they were ready to pounce at her.

Meanwhile, Lord Tzivya appeared more and more anxious upon hearing those questions. She quickly knelt. "Chosen One! You mustn't fall for all that nonsense! That is not the truth. I have never—"
"Enough!" James cut her off. "It's either I examine your soul memories or you come clean yourself. This will also affect what happens to the Tanataya Temple."
Lord Tzivya froze. Then, she slumped to the floor with an ashen face.
She never imagined their perfect, elaborate plan would fall through so soon. Moreover, she was even exposed as one of the main culprits.
"Lord Tzivya." Adina took a few steps forward. "Let me tell them what you couldn't bring yourself to share here.
"You are Yehria's mother. However, she was conceived during a fling you had in the Tai Chi World."
A small commotion erupted among the cultivators almost instantly.
"A child born out of wedlock? Ha! Who would have guessed something like that had happened?"
"No wonder she was so willing to help Yehria assume the position of Tai Chi. She even offered up the Tanataya Temple's eighty-one powers!"
"So, this is the truth! Persephone was not fit to hold the position of Tai Chi because she had too high of a number for her tribulations. So, she had her daughter take it instead!"
"So, who's the father? Is it Wesley?"
“Stop fooling around. Wesley wouldn't do something like this."
