James slowly raised his hand at that moment. "Mr. Wiktor, I am grateful for your advice, and I understand your concerns.
"I know it’s just an excuse when you say you're worried that I'll fall for the trap.
"What you and the others are really concerned about is that I may go down the wrong path, turn away from the teachings of the Path, and rebel against the governance of your master’s group.
"The fact that me and the unorthodox sects' and factions' members may turn into demons is rather alarming as well.”
Wiktor's eyes bulged with shock.
He knew James would surely arrive at these conclusions with all the knowledge and experience the latter had. Yet, he never imagined James would just say it out loud.
"I would have become a demon already if your concerns were valid."
James continued, "As for those guys from the unorthodox sects and factions, they have such horrendous appearances and strange beauty standards.
"I like beautiful things, so I can't stand them.
"Hence, I’d like to ask for your help to pass on my message to the divine beings who support me. We may have the same goals, but we are each free to do things in our own way.

"Most importantly, we need to hold on to our beliefs. We can be flexible and creative in our methods, and still practice the ways of Path in them.
'There are no rules stating that the Path is a set of strict, fixed rules. Each living being has their own interpretation of Path, and to act on it is to follow one's heart.
"It's fine even if those divine beings decide to believe the rumors and stop supporting me.
"What matters is I have never let those who trust me down."
When James had finished, Wiktor put his hands on his back and gazed at the sky. He just had a dawning realization. Wiktor finally had a rough understanding of James' character.
James was not someone who could be bound by the responsibilities of the positions of the Chosen One and the Supreme Path.
What he truly desired was to live a happy, unconstrained, and carefree life. That was what the Path meant to him.
Wiktor figured James' Path might eventually become the Path that all beings would find the most difficult to understand but still yearned for.
On the other hand, James conjured four soul energy balls near Wiktor.
'You are taking a huge risk by making a trip here to meet me secretly. I am extremely grateful for that.
'Thus, I can't let you leave empty-handed. The two Chosen Ones and two emperors are contained in those soul energy balls. You should take them with you.
"Take the half Xyloria Taichu Pearl with you too. I will acquire the entire pearl from Sir Taichu himself when I meet him later on."
Wiktor had a dazed look on his face as he stared at the four energy balls. He never thought that James would do something like this. His kindness and generosity made Wiktor seem petty.
He felt extremely embarrassed.
"It’s time for you to go." James lifted his hands to stretch his muscles a little. 'The longer you stay, the higher the risk of them catching you here."
Wiktor snapped out of his reverie and bowed deeply to James. Then, he put away the four soul energy balls and the halved Xyloria Taichu Pearl.
Without a pause, Wiktor shot up into the sky.
James was about to leave the place as well. Suddenly, he heard Wiktor's voice ringing through the space. "James, I finally understand now why Wesley is willing to risk everything he has for you.
"I've gained a lot from our meeting. Even if everyone else don't believe you, me and Wesley will always trust you!"
At that very moment, an armor glowing with the Wama Divine Light descended from the sky.
