James, Morgott, Thea, and Lesia split up and attacked from four sides.
There were sounds of explosions and weapons clashing as soon as the four of them disappeared behind the cloud of smoke where Xanthakos was.
All of that happened so quickly that even Yiulia, who was also a Path Emperor, could do nothing and just watch from the side.
Above all the commotion, the mass of gray gases formed by Taichu was circulating rapidly.
Taichu's voice reverberated through the space. "Chosen One, don't fall for his trick! It'll be over for your side if the group of you are sent into the Gate of Mystery!"

As the Bohnwer Light grew brighter, an immense suction force and strong winds were created in that space.
Both Yiulia and Taichu immediately activated their Natal Protection Formation to prevent being sucked away.
On the other hand, James and his comrades swiftly backed away from Xanthakos.
They tried to get as far away as possible. However, they were gradually slowed down and dragged backward due to the suction force.
"Damn it! As expected of the Gate of Mystery!" Morgott complained aloud, " Xanthakos sure hasn't wasted any time during the past millions of entrapochs in enhancing the gate's powers!"
While he was saying that, Morgott sent a swift, forceful blast toward the Gate of Mystery by using the Tyrant spear.
However, nothing happened as Morgott’s attack passed through the door and disappeared almost instantly.
"James, try using the Wuia Demon-Slayer Sword! Otherwise, we'll all get sucked in!" Morgott shouted.
In a flash, James combined with the Jozo Sword and transformed into a beautiful sword shining with the Sohnwer Light.
With the transformation, James managed to break free from the hold of the mysterious suction force.

In the sword form, James shot toward Thea and cut through the suction force pulling her to the gate.
Instead of teleporting away, Thea extended her arms and performed the Three Treasures Integration. A gigantic lotus appeared beneath her. The lotus emanated the Sohnwer Light. Despite the surrounding Bohnwer Lights, the Sohnwer Light expanded and spun quickly, keeping the powerful suction force outside.
Meanwhile, James had also freed Lesia and Morgott by severing the suction force latched onto them. Then, he swiftly pushed the two of them toward the center of Thea's lotus.
After that, James, still in his sword form, shot toward Xanthakos who was found near the Gate of Mystery.
"Transforming into a sword is Zemra's signature skill. It seems you have decided to abandon the Path and practice the Demonic Path instead, despite you being a Chosen One.” Xanthakos snorted.
He maintained a seated position in front of the Gate of Mystery.
