"Hahaha! You're willing to die for the other person?!" Xanthakos laughed hysterically. "Did you hearthat, James Caden? She couldn't, and she wouldn’t dare give you a straightforward answer!

Lesia had always tried her best to help him. Her end goal was to help James, who had the title of the Chosen One, obtain the position of the Supreme Path.
According to her and Emperor Yarden, that was the only way for them to overcome the Leere Tribulation and exterminate the Waitara Path's Soremsia upon his return.
In a way, James was their pawn. He was a top-ranked pawn since he was being manipulated by the Nine Caeloros Gods of Nothingness.
Of course, the Nine Caeloros Gods of Nothingness claimed that they were just trying to pick their next leader.
James loathed being used, no matter who it was trying to control him. However, he had no idea how long it had been since he became a pawn for these men.
Lesia soon sensed the shift in James' mood. She quickly turned to look at him.
