James said coldly, "You won't regret letting me set the terms?"
Qadeer was taken aback, his heart skipping a beat. He realized his triumphant attitude was too obvious after witnessing Frona’s selfdestruction, and he nearly exposed himself.
He laughed and said, "How about a marriage?"
James raised an eyebrow and looked at him perplexedly.
Qadeer explained smilingly, "Don't misunderstand. I know of your deep affection for the Yin governor and that you won't accept another woman. What I am suggesting is we become in-laws."
James was rendered speechless.
Qadeer elaborated, "You have sons and daughters, and so do I. It'd be perfect to have an arranged marriage."
James frowned and said, "Explain in detail."

Qadeer said calmly, i'll be direct then. You’ve already met my son, so you should more or less know about him."
James inquired, "Youcef?"
Qadeer nodded. "Yes. What do you think of him?"
James did not respond but began assessing Youcef. Back in the Tai Chi World, Youcefs sudden appearance prompted him to recombine the Tai Chi World and gain the living being's worship, allowing him to become their lord.
He was surprised Qadeer would use his son as a bargaining chip.
James looked at Qadeer and said, "Don’t beat around the bush. What's
your goal?"
Qadeer smiled and said tentatively, "You can have him as a son-in-law. It doesn't matter which one of your daughters he marries."
James was at a loss for words.
Qadeer added, "We can become even closer in-laws. You've met my daughter, Yehria. Although she’s a little mischievous, she’s really beautiful. You can also have her as your daughter-in-law. You've two adult sons.
However, I do prefer Jacopo."
James was completely dumbfounded by Qadeer's scheme. Knowing Thea and Yehria had an irreconcilable feud, he wanted to use a marriage between their children as a resolution. Moreover, he did not propose just one marriage, but two, to bind James to his ambitious plans.
Qadeer was indeed one of the smartest, most insidious, vicious, and difficult opponents James had ever encountered before.
Qadeer stared at James and asked, "What do you think? We'll become a family that is in the same boat. Together, we can conquer the Greater Realms. Neither the Waitara Path nor the Nine Caeloros Gods of Nothingness can stop US."
James suddenly laughed.
