Yefrenes stared at them.
“What? Aren't you two desperate to save the Caeloros Supreme?” Quintinus and Amos’ lips tightened into thin lines.
They berated Yefrenes for her despicable ways in their hearts.
However, they still responded agreeably, then transformed into air masses and left.
After they were gone, Yefrenes turned to James with a knowing smile.
“Your strategy worked, James.
However, I’m not a fool like them.
The Frona you just showed US had no signs of life.
Though the Caeloros Supreme Scepter looked genuine, I couldn't sense any Daoism within it.
It was definitely fake.” James smiled calmly and asked, “Why did you agree to the deal if you noticed?” “Because I wanted to talk to you alone.” After responding, Yefrenes raised her hand and sealed Quintus.
Then, she released black-and-white energy and sealed everything in the area, including the Historial Palace.
James was startled by Yefrenes' powerful and swift sealing technique, amazed that she was still terrifyingly strong despite having her strength halved.
Yefrenes said with a smile, “I know what’s on your mind.
You thought by sending Quintinus and Amos away, you could manipulate me to your will.
You must’ve forgotten that among the Caeloros Gods of Nothingness, I’m only second to Frona.

In terms of strength and wisdom, I’m far superior to Quintinus and Amos.
“Though I only have half of my strength now, your chance of victory isn’t guaranteed.
Whatever advantage you have, I have as well.
However, what you lack, I also have." Yefrenes slowly placed her hands behind her back and said, still smiling, “Your formation is indeed powerful.
It should be enough to handle Quintinus and Amos.
Unfortunately, you seem to have forgotten that one of the treasures used to cast this formation originates from my Daoism." After speaking, she stretched out her arm and unleashed a potent Nothingness Aura at the formation beneath James, causing it to buzz.
The Xwem Chessboard, used as the foundation for the 80 halls, trembled violently, then began to shrink.
James’ face was filled with shock.
He had not expected the Xxwem Chessboard to still obey Yefrenes’ orders, even though he had seized control over it.
When the Xwem Chessboard was reduced to half its size, Yefrenes halted the process and asked, smiling, “Do you still think you can defeat me, James?” James squinted, feeling an unprecedented sense of crisis.
Yefrenes sighed and said, “Alright, that’s enough.
Let’s talk.
Like I said before, you should hand over Frona and the Caeloros Supreme Scepter to me.
Then, we won’t have a direct conflict of interest.
“We can even join forces.
You’ll have control over the Haleth Realm, and III have control over the Xanadu Realm.
It’s a win-win situation.
I can even grant you the privilege to freely pass through the Xyrisia Gate.
“I won’t interfere with the Haleth Realm’s affairs and will allow you to have the final say.” After listening to Yefrenes' proposal, James finally understood what a balanced approach of kindness and authority was like.
With a thought, he restored the Xwem Chessboard to its original size.
Then, he said, “Frona is my second body.
I can’t hand her over to you and allow her to suffer.
As for the Caeloros Supreme Scepter..." Yefrenes said firmly, “I want both.
You don’t have a choice.” James smiled wickedly and asked, “So you think you have me cornered?” Yefrenes admitted bluntly, “Yes.
1 am giving you a chance, so I hope you cherish it.” James smiled.
