With a flash of purple-red light, Morgott brought Harper to the entrance of the Xyrisia Gate in Jawdat Region. A touch of emotion crossed his handsome face as he gazed at the swirling mass of black-and-white gas, brimming with boundless Innate Energy.

"I came here to fulfill that promise." Morgott turned to face her. "Only by being here can James focus entirely on fighting Waitara Path's soul spirit."

Harper was surprised. She was shocked that Morgott had become so profound and cryptic and even more surprised that he took his promises so seriously. However, there seemed to be more to his words.
Thinking this, Harper squinted at Morgott. "I want the truth, not vague talk. Don't make me put you on the scumbag blacklist."
Morgott's face showed a trace of bitterness. "Then I'll be frank. James is wary of Xanthakos, Waitara Path's soul spirit, and even me!
"So, I won't be helping him if I stay by his side. Instead, I'll be a distraction. Against Waitara Path's soul spirit, who is more formidable than Xanthakos, he would surely lose."
Harper's face turned cold. "You're judging a gentleman with a petty mind!"
