James and Thea stared intently at the sealed energy ball hovering in the air.
Meanwhile, Xezal and Rebella wore blank expressions as they stared in the same direction, as if petrified.
After a moment, James grasped the sealed energy ball and tooka deep breath.
“You wanted to save her but ended up helping that wench,” Thea said, her dissatisfaction evident.
James lowered his head and sighed.

If that’s what you say...” Thea turned and looked him in the eye.
“Is the guilt eating away at you, then? Do you feel sorry for her?” James remained silent.
Thea fixed her gaze on him.
A few seconds later, she extended her hand.

« Huh?” James was confused.
“Give it to me,” Thea said coldly.
“Let me handle it if you meant every word you said.” James paused briefly.

We can't leave it unattended in the Haleth Realm n “Give me the Caeloros Supreme Scepter too, then.” Thea cut him off.
“Power-wise, I’m stronger than you now.” James smiled wryly and transmitted his thoughts to Thea.
“The scepter is currently in Lesia’s possession.
Once we meet her, I'll get it back and...” Before he could finish, Thea snatched the sealed energy ball from his hand.
“Okay.
Then, I’ll keep this for now.” James was at a loss for words.
Anything he said could sound out of place.
If Thea detected any reluctance in his voice, she would surely fly into a temper.
If she became so upset that she decided to leave, James might spend epochs trying to win her back.
After securing the sealed energy ball, Thea turned her gaze to Xezal and Rebella.
“The two of them saw something they shouldn’t have.
Are you going to take care of them? Or should I?” James hurriedly responded, “We can trust them.
I think it’ll be enough if we erase their memories of what just happened.” He saw Thea roll her eyes before she teleported away, disappearing from sight.
James let out a small sigh of relief.
He feared Thea might insist on killing his two valuable aides in anger.
