I went to bed but didn't nap. I lay staring at the ceiling with the tv on for background nose. The pain in my head had dulled, the bottle of water Jake forced me to take helped with that.

Grabbing my phone from the nightstand I read the text message my gran had sent an hour ago. She was inviting me over for coffee at six, but dinner was at eight.
