Once we were home, Jake went straight to bed, I locked the doors and pulled the curtains. Fixing myself a plate of the soup Charlotte made I parked myself in front of the TV and got comfortable.

Hopefully, he would sleep for a few hours, and no one would come over. I settled for desperate housewives and grabbed the blanket off the back of the couch to wrap around my shoulders.
