Confused and slightly scared by the woman’s demeanor, I sit up and grip the sheets tightly as I kecp my nervous gaze on her. She was a wolf and by the powerful aura she emitted, she was definitely of higher rank.

She closes the door behind her gently, as if to not make any sound alerting anyone, including the alpha. I opened my mouth but her eyes weighed down on me in fury and with a silent threat.
