I opened my eyes but quickly shut them against the bright light. Sitting up straight, I rubbed my eyes and yawned.

Turning toward the window, I was surprised to see the driver standing outside. I rolled down the window as he bowed slightly, “Miss, we’ve arrived.”

Frowning, I looked out the other window and realized we were parked right outside the Nightfall Pack’s hospital.

“You’ve got to be kidding me,” I muttered under my breath.
