The moment my eyes fluttered open, I realized I was back in my bedroom. A sharp gasp escaped my lips as I sat up slowly, scanning the familiar surroundings.

Lowering my gaze, I became aware of the clothing draped over my body–men’s clothes. Kane’s scent clung to the fabric, unmistakable and overwhelming.

Piece by piece, the events of last night resurfaced in my mind.
