Sheila arrived at the hotel with Goldie, looking downcast. She was already missing Athena but knew it was better not to show her face in the Dark Moon Pack ever again.

Stuffing her hand into the n*ck of her dress, she brought out the pendant, opened it, and glanced admiringly at Athena’s picture. “I miss you, ma’am. I always will.”

She took her phone and used the picture they snapped together as a screensaver. Goldie had no idea why Sheila was moody, feeling that she was regretting the divorce.
