There was no response, but Charlotte’s eyes were teary as she continued to cough. Alpha Nick waited patiently for her to stop coughing and start explaining certain things.

Patrick was equally worried. “I think we should get her some water,” he said, beckoning to one of the waiters. The water was brought as Patrick said,
