I hear commotion all around me as I double over in pain. My senses are all out of whack at the moment as well but all I can think about is my mate. "Ledger, where are you? Call out to me!" I wait but hear nothing, "Ledger, call out to me!"

"What do you mean they are gone? Gone where, back to the pack house?"
