I hear commotion all around me as I double over in pain. My senses are all out of whack at the moment as well but all I can think about is my mate. He doesn't know about wolfsbane and how it can be poisonous if it's ingested. I try glancing around but all I see is double of everything and I can't smell Ledger anywhere.

"Ledger, where are you? Call out to me!" I wait but hear nothing, "Ledger, call out to me!"

"Beta, he's gone, so is Alpha Declan!" One of the warriors informs me.

"What do you mean they are gone? Gone where, back to the pack house?"

"No, the Shikari took them. As soon as they blew the wolfsbane into the air, they grabbed them both and disap- peared into thin air! We had no time to get to them before they were just... gone."

"Shit! Get me back to the pack house, now! Where is Pe- ter?" I ask.

"I'm here, Beta! I'm in the same boat as you, my senses are fucked."
