(Rose’s Pov).

The cab pulled to a stop in front of Griffin’s house. It was the same pack house as when he was still Alpha. Even though, he had handed power over to his son–in–law, Theo, Alpha Griffin and Luna Belle was still living in the pack house.

I hesitated a little before I gathered the strength to push the car door open.

The driver helped me pull my bag from the car before he drove off.

Finally, I stood alone in front of the house.

Memories of the terror I faced in the hands of Griffin flooded my mind, and I trembled. Fear gripped me.

I wasn’t sure I was making the right choice by coming here. There were too many unhappy memories in this pack.
