Chapter 230

It took a while before the door finally opened.

When it did, Eros came in, wet. Water dripped on the floor, and he clothes he wore stuck to him like a second skin.

He looked more attractive than ever even with the way he looked but I refused to let my emotions sway.

I was angry, and I needed to let him know that I had seen him and his lover quarrel.

The first reaction Eros had when he saw me was surprise. He must have concluded that I was asleep before he stepped out, only to find me awake now that he was back.

I stepped closer to him and closed the space between us. I folded my hands at my side as the fury I felt intensified.

“How dare you?” I gritted out.

Eros frowned. He cocked his head to the side in confusion.

“What do you mean?” He asked.

I scoffed. “You know how I feel about her; how could you bring her here, of all places?”

When Eros still stayed glued to his look of confusion, I pointed at the window.

“I saw everything. I saw you with that snake, Susie. What was she doing here?”

Eros’s eyes widened, and he looked past me towards the window. He must have seen that I had a clear view from up here. He immediately went still.

“You saw everything?” Eros asked.

“Yes, everything!” I yelled.

I faced him head–on and jabbed a finger at his shoulder. “Why?!”
