(Eden's Pov)

"She's back!" I heard a young man call out as he hurried into my tent. Hands on his knees, he bent a little and took a moment to catch his breath before he continued, pointing a hand furiously at the entrance.

I frowned and took a step forward. "Tell me, what is going on?"

"Betsy is back. She just came in." He said.

My eyes widened in surprise.

"Did she come with anyone else?" I asked.

The young man shook his head. "She came alone, with nothing else."

I frowned. It was obvious Betsy had no idea that her disappearance was no longer a secret. If she knew, this would have been the last place she would return to.

I nodded. "Thank you."

"You need to summon her." Gordon, one of the representatives, said quickly. "For all we know, she must have brought a spy along with her, or she might very well be the spy. I suggest she should be killed as a traitor." The rest of the men agreed with his reasoning. I thought about it for a moment.

They were right. Betsy needed to be questioned. We needed to know exactly where she went and what she had done, but I also knew that if we did that, Pison might get to know about it.

""No." I answered the men.

That wasn't necessary. We need her as much as Pison does. If she is the only way Pison can get to us, then she is also the only way we can get to him.

I turned to the young man who had delivered the message. "I need you to do something for me."

"Yes, my Queen." The young man bowed slightly. "What do you need me to do?"

"Watch her every move. We are not sure what Betsy went out of the camp to do, but we should always be on alert." I said.
