My hand loosened around Eden's neck and I allowed it to fall to my side in confusion

Her laughter mocked me. It was as if she knew something I haven't figured out, and It was obvious Eden wasn't scared of me. She smirked and straightened her dress before crossing her arms to face me head on. I felt a small shiver but still maintained my cold demeanor "What is so funny?" I snared at her.

"Just the lady in front of me," She shrugged.

I frowned. "What do you mean?" I asked.

I felt a surge of anger grow in me. "Are you insane?"
