During the video call between Taya and Grace, Grace spilled the beans about the love triangle involving Preston, Jayden, and Harper.
Taya wasn’t sure if Grace added any exaggeration or gossip to the story, but it caused quite a serious uproar.
Upon hearing Taya’s words, Preston’s expression froze momentarily before he let out a nonchalant laugh. His faint smile betrayed his
lack of concern.
“What’s the big deal? Just because we broke up doesn’t mean we can’t meet up, right?”
“That’s not what I meant..”

Taya was worried that he would feel awkward if the three of them met, but Preston seemed to understand and raised his eyebrows.
“I’ve had plenty of ex-girlfriends, can’t avoid awkwardness with all of them, can we?”
Even though Taya had refused, Preston still insisted on going and she could only nod in agreement.
“Okay, you can go.”
Griffon, who was standing nearby, gave Taya a sidelong glance after she agreed.
“Darling, don’t you want to ask for my opinion?”
She reached out and h ooked her arm around his, resting her chin on his shoulder and acting coquettish
“Hubby, I feel like he just wants to see Harper. If you don’t agree, he’ll keep bothering me.”
Preston had traveled a long way to please her, seemingly wanting her to put in a good word for him with Harper after she returned to her home country, but he didn’t say it outright and Taya wasn’t too sure.
“He has no dignity.”
Griffon sneered, but then thought about how he had accepted Beta’s invitation just to see Taya once upon a time. It seemed like he didn’t have much dignity either.
