Chapter 265

Penelope was in her bedroom, slapping on a face mask. With a new agate necklace in hand, she was planning on attending the Lindberg family’s house party on Saturday. Her spirits were high.

Suddenly, the door swung open. Assuming it was Margo, Penelope snapped, “Margo, you’re really pushing it, barging into my room like this!” She looked up and saw Allison standing in the doorway.

“Allison, what are you doing here?‘ Penelope asked.

Once she’d gotten over the shock, Penelope yelled out, “Margo, Margo, who let this person in?!”

Margo was downstairs. Hearing the commotion, she grumbled, “Idiot, can’t even keep one Allison out!” She then hobbled upstairs.

Allison strode into Penelope’s room, heading to the vanity to rummage through the storage box. She was looking for her necklace, but it wasn’t there. She then checked in Penelope’s walk–in closet, but still no luck.
