Chapter 17: Jealousy.

Daniel felt anger rush through his blood. Didn't she say she was going to the hospital to visit her mother? Why was she having a coffee date?

"Did you catch his name?" he asked after a while Grey knew he had gotten the boss'

"Dinner will be served soon," he said after a while. His emotions were all over the place. He knew that she was entitled to do whatever she wanted, but he could not take it. He did not like the Idea of her interacting with other men. It felt like an insult to him. He was getting more agitated as time passed and now she was in front of him, he could not find words to express what was happening.

"Alright," she answered and hurried upstairs to her room. As she cleaned up, he was getting impatient. Daniel had already figured out how he was going to approach the matter. He had reconstructed his words over and over again in his head. But when she came down in a comfortable dress worn over a white t-shirt, he could not find the words.

They ate for a while till he could not hold it in any longer.

"Where did you go?" he asked and she paused in confusion.

"I told you this, the hospital," she answered.

"To see your mother?" he asked.

"Yes," she answered.
