Looking at the hurt look in Anya's eyes, Daniel felt slightly uncomfortable. But her words. made him sneer slightly.

"Oh? You have forgotten so quickly? You wanted this marriage. My grandfather offered you a chance to be my wife and you took it, even when asked you to back off. You knew he could force me to marry you, but you did not mind. What happened? You suddenly regret it?" he asked.

This was the twenty-first century. Why should you marry someone just because your grandfather forced you? She had thought that since he had not rejected the marriage too much, he was not so adverse to her. He was a grown man and had decided to enter the marriage with her.
