Anya had just picked up her call. She placed the phone in her ear and answered irritably.

"What is it?" she asked, distracted when a vase smashed her way. And she let out a scream.

When Daniel had gotten to the office that morning, he was slightly distracted by her behavior that morning.

He recalled she had not eaten that morning and wanted to send her something, so he called her. When he heard her voice, Daniel realized that she was still irritated.
