She saw pictures of Martin meeting with her a familiar man. She already knew what this was the moment she saw it. But could not bring herself to believe it. "What is this?"

"You know who the man Mercy is meeting in the picture is, that is the man that killed your father, isn't he. After spending time with the organization, there is no way you did not find out who he was," he said, and she started finding it hard to breathe. "Why?" she asked. She wanted to ask why Mercy was with that man, but instead she asked something else.

"Why tell me this?" She found her voice to ask him.

"You are about to sign a deal tomorrow, should I hide it from you?" he could not hell but ask with a frown. He made to take her hand, but stopped.

"I mean, why are you helping me? You even went as far as to have me as bait but are helping me?" she asked, her voice barely leaving her throat.

"Vivian I do not want you to get hurt. I want you to decide what to do while knowing all the fact. What ever you choose, I will take your side," he said, reaching out to take her hand but she threw it off.

"I am asking why you came back to live with me! Why do you want to help me? You have not hesitated to put me in harms way, but now you are protecting me? Why start now? Why did you suddenly..." she threw a barrage of questions at him. He hands were shaking as she asked this. She was tired of people playing her.
